Fruit and Berry Picking in Brentwood

While many of our favorite places and activities are shut down or cancelled at the moment, there are still plenty of reasons to get outside and take advantage of the some of the activities that are open for business. This month the berry and fruit picking season started and will continue well into the Summer. We went to different Brentwood farms 2 weekends in a row, put on our bandit costumes and picked the most fresh and sun-ripened strawberries and cherries.

It is a great excuse to get outside with family and friends, support local farmers and treat yourself to a sweet and healthy snack. Pick enough for jams, desserts and baking. Did you know that green strawberries are amazing for pickling?
