Happy Valentine's Day

Just in case you forgot, Valentine’s Day is tomorrow. This “unofficial” holiday is a lot more than flowers, chocolate, cards and crowded restaurants. It has a long and rather dark early history, but along the way, over hundreds of years, brightened and became the official day of love and Valentines. Valentines are handwritten tokens of affection and appreciation. Valentine’s day was first commercialized in the mid-1800s with mass produced cards. Whatever your Valentine’s Day may look like, please show your appreciation for your community by supporting local businesses.
