Mountain View voters approve Measure Q tax law on cannabis business

Mountain View voters on Wednesday approved Measure Q tax law on businesses that engage in selling pot.

According to the Santa Clara County Registrar's reports, 80.69 percent of the residents voted yes to the initiative. The reports also indicated that over 10,000 voters agreed to set aside 9% of their earnings from cannabis related business to the city.

Official results will be published after a month.
